I feel I need to start, by outlining the basic requirement that’s essential to achieving success online when you’re working from home ~ laying the foundation.
You may have the ideas, you may have the drive, you may have the desire, and you may have the resources…but where do you go from there? Many Internet Marketers have never given consideration to the foundations of their internet business, instead choosing the “fly by the seat of your pants” approach. Which, I have to inform you – doesn’t work, and many who have tried this approach fall down in flames, ~ can you smell the burning?
Consider this ~ you might know a little bit about building houses, so you decide to build your own. You build your two story house in 3 to 4 days, with only the knowledge you have and with the cheapest materials available. How long do you think that house will stand up when the wind blows, or a hard rain comes? The truth is ~ It won’t. Instead, you’ll be looking at a pile of rubble – asking yourself what went wrong?.
It’s a known fact, that in this current economic downturn, more and more people are turning to the internet to try and secure a better life for themselves and their families by setting up their own online business. What approach will the majority take? I regret to say that most of them will see “their houses collapse” – they will regretfully “fly by the seats of their pants” unaware that it all starts with building your internet marketing business on a firm foundation.
I understand why this approach is adopted, because I was foolish enough to ignore the fundamentals myself when I started out, and embarked on a mad dash in an effort to get rich quick, it was driven by pure desperation. I don’t know if you can relate to this, but I wanted financial freedom instantly, I wanted my debts cleared instantly, I was in such a hurry, I signed up to every offer that guaranteed quick results with minimal effort. Did I get to where I wanted to be by adopting that approach? – No, I did NOT, and neither will anyone else.
To have any semblance of success in the industry you have to establish a foundation that is based on knowledge, quite simply, you need to know what you are doing. That means you have to establish what the successful 3% are doing. It might take you a bit longer to get there, but at least, you will get there – always apply * due diligence This is why I am now an advocate for the distribution of material that sets people off on the right course, that provides them with the knowledge that will truly benefit them, and will secure a place for them with the successful few.
